Is kids beauty pageant good or bad?

Purpose of this documentary

The purpose of this documentary is to show people if children doing beauty pageants good or bad? Or is it just something that parents make their children to do. Does it help children boost their confidence or just damage their self esteem? Should children be allowed to do beauty pageant or should it just be a thing for adults? Also this documentary will show the in-sight of a kids beauty pageants, the clothe make-up, fake tan and money spent on a pageant but also the tears, anger and frustration. 

 Sad faces & Fake smiles

Many people think they're evil, claiming that the beauty pageants are more for the parents than for the children. The kids did not want to be in the beauty pageant, and it was obvious, but the moms threatened and intimidated them into going on stage. kids pageant should just be a hobby and not a life time thing. If they don't win, they might take it personally and get hurt feelings. The child might end up feeling unattractive.

However some children love the idea of child pageants it's the whole point of getting all dressed up and having fun. A pageant girl usually learns to be comfortable in front of strangers, giving her self-confidence a big boost. Pageants can be a lot of fun for kids. Most pageants sell foods that kids love, including pizza, hot dogs, popcorn, candy, and other snacks. Child pageants can teach kids to be gracious winners and good losers. They'll learn the aspects of rules and fair play.
 
In conclusion i think beauty pageants are good when parents can handle defeat and show their children how to show good sportsmanship and just learn from their mistakes instead of getting all frustrated and showing a negative vibe to their children. Some children don't want to do the pageants and when they get forced into doing it, it shows on stage from their facial expressions that their unhappy. Children should do beauty pageants but from their own will and not get forced into doing something that they don't want to do.
